Overview

This privacy notice for PLATTER HUB INC ("we", "us", or "our") explains how we collect, store, use, and share information when you use PlatterHub Connect, PlatterHub.ai, or related services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including names, email addresses, usernames, passwords, verification codes, support messages, uploaded media, captions, hashtags, schedules, and post content.

When you connect Facebook or Instagram, we may store the information needed to operate the service, including social account identifiers, page or business account names, profile information made available by the platform, access tokens, connected page/account records, post history, media URLs, thumbnails, analytics or insight data returned by the platform, and publishing results.

If you use upload features, we may store uploaded images or videos and hosted media links. If you use a mobile application, the app may request access to device storage, camera, microphone, and push notifications when needed for the feature you choose to use.

We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information and do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

How We Use Information

We process information to create and authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, connect social channels, display content data, upload media, publish or schedule posts, provide support, improve the service, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with law, and communicate service-related updates.

Marketing communications may be sent only where permitted. You can opt out by contacting support.

Social Logins and Connected Channels

When you choose to connect Facebook or Instagram, the provider may share profile, page, business account, media, post, permission, and token data with us. We use this data only to provide the features shown in the PlatterHub Connect dashboard, including account linking, recent content review, media publishing, scheduling, and related analytics.

Your relationship with Facebook, Instagram, and other third-party services is governed by their own policies. You can disconnect access through those platform settings or by contacting us.

Sharing and Storage

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the services, including hosting, database, storage, email delivery, analytics, and platform API providers. We may also share information during business transfers, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect rights and safety.

Our services are hosted in Canada and may use providers in other countries. By using the services, you understand that your information may be transferred, stored, and processed outside your region.

Retention and Security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. No purpose in this notice requires keeping personal information for longer than three months after account termination unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Rights and Data Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.

To request review, update, or deletion of your data, email support@platterhub.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will respond and complete deletion from active databases within 30 days where required by applicable law.

Facebook Data Deletion

To remove Facebook access yourself, go to Facebook Settings & Privacy, open Apps and Websites, find PlatterHub, and click Remove. You may also contact us directly for deletion of data associated with your Facebook login.
